Using our CPIC Toolkit we have checklists and reporting templates that can be easily customized for each customer to better manage investments through the select, control and evaluate phases, while meeting changing OMB requirements.
Portfolio Management (Dashboard Reporting)
- Implementation of IT Dashboard through the application of ALON CPIC Toolkit templates

OMB 300 and 53 Submission Processes
- Development and improvement of OMB 300 business case submissions for new and existing investments

- Preparation and submission of IT portfolio into the annual IT budget process including pass-back justification
IT Governance Support
- CPIC policy development to include review board charters and scoring templates
- CPIC Governance management support to manage the review and selection of IT investments within the portfolio
- Implementation of sound practices for effective investment selection, control, and evaluation of new and existing IT investments
Performance Measurement Support
- Development of key performance indicators
- Analysis of performance metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM) support
- Assistance in the development of project performance measures to support business case development
- Variance analysis
Management Support and Training
- Technical assistance to investment managers in the development of effective business cases
- Hands-on training with CPIC investment reporting procedures and tools (Primavera Portfolio Management, eCPIC, SharePoint)
- Practical training provided to investment managers to meet the requirements of agency CPIC processes
